Gray pubic hair can be a problem when you are trying to look sexy all around. When the hair on your head is dyed to a color that speaks of youth and vitality, it is only natural that you want the other hair on your body to follow the same code. Worry no more as it is absolutely possible for you to do this. Health care professionals are of course always not recommending you to color your pubic hair, because the safest way for it to be done is by going to the salon to do it professionally. There is some truth in that, clearly.

But, there is also a way for you to attempt to dye your own pubic hair. The items that you will need for this process are petroleum jelly, latex gloves, hair color product, hair color applicator brush, moisturizing shampoo, towels, and washcloths. When you go to the drug store to buy the hair color product to dye your pubic hair, consider the look that you actually want for your pubic hair. If you just want the natural color that is the closest shade to your pubic hair before it started to turn gray, get the simple natural tone of color. Take into account that your pubic hair is always a shade or two darker than the hair on your head. Find for the hair dye that is a shade darker than what you would use for the hair on your head.

Even though you are familiar with dying the hair on your head, be on the safe side and perform a skin patch test to make sure you are not allergic to the hair color product. Follow the skin patch test instructions included in the product, by testing it at the small inside of your elbow. Use a cotton swab to apply the proper mixture of the dye to use on your arm. Do not wash the area until the test is completed. You can check for any reactions after 24 hours and again after 48 hours. If any allergic reactions or irritations occur, you must not use the product. Only after you are sure that there is no allergic reaction that you can safely use it to dye your pubic hair.

Petroleum jelly is included in the list of items so that you can use it to protect the inner skin of your genitals. Be sure to coat all the sensitive areas with a small amount of petroleum jelly to help eliminate skin irritation or infection that can occur if the hair dye should spill. Make sure that the petroleum jelly does not get on any gray pubic hair that you want to dye, or else this would defeat the whole purpose of dyeing your pubic hair.

Use the mixture of the dye to dye your pubic hair according to the instructions. Put on your latex gloves to protect your hands. There is another way to reduce the full strength of the mixture that could be harsh for your pubic hair by mixing an ounce of the hair dye mixture with an ounce of shampoo in a container. Lather the dye mixture on the pubic hair and let it set for about 15 to 20 minutes. Pay attention not to let the mixture spill on the sensitive part of your genital area. Rinse your pubic region in the shower and check on the results. You may repeat the steps again, if you are not satisfied with the final result or if it is not as dark as you desire. At last, you are able to get rid of the gray pubic hair and look good literally from your head to you toes.
